What is the Cost of the Retreat?
The all-inclusive cost for two nights and meals is $255/person for a double room and $395/person for a single room. If you register online, credit card convenience fees increase the costs to $267 for a double and $413 for a single. Double rooms will not be assigned but will be available only at the request of the two guests rooming with each other. A deposit of $50 will reserve your place until 30 days prior to the retreat at which time full payment is due. The full amount of the deposit is refundable if you cancel at least 30 days in advance of the retreat. What are the Details of the Retreat? The Retreat will begin at St Francis Springs at dinner at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Participants should try to arrive by 5:30 p.m. to check in and get settled in their rooms before dinner. The Retreat will end after lunch on Sunday. Reservations may be made on a first-come, first-served basis (1) online using the form to the right; or (2) by calling 336-323-8957. Who is Jeanine Siler Jones? Cynthia Bourgeault recommended Jeanine Siler Jones to Nexus Journey as a gifted presenter on the Enneagram. Jeanine has been instrumental in establishing Wisdom Schools in the Southeast over the last decade and currently serves as Chair of the Board of Wisdom Waypoints whose mission is to support the work of Cynthia Bourgeault and transmit the Wisdom Christian tradition internationally. She and her husband Russell Siler Jones live in Asheville, NC and have a counseling ministry, Siler Jones Counseling. Jeanine primarily works as a Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapist and Spiritual Director. She weaves together the practice of Centering Prayer with the guidance from the Enneagram and the Wisdom Tradition in all her work. The teachings and the practices offer daily opportunities to engage a ‘surrendered attention’ in which the grist for the mill of personal and spiritual transformation is endless. What is the Welcoming Prayer? The Enneagram is a powerful framework for self-discovery and inner awakening. It refers to a sacred symbol with the interlocking geometric shapes of a circle, a triangle and a hexad; and nine points around the circle. Most people first learn about the nine points and the personality typologies connected with each point. There is wisdom to be learned in the psychological insight of type as well as the wisdom embedded in the symbol itself. When engaged as an invitation into Presence, with spiritual practices, the Enneagram is a rich map which guides us to see who we are beyond personality. On this retreat we will be engaging our minds, bodies, and hearts, all three centers of intelligence, as we explore how the Enneagram can reveal the ways we fall asleep to being present. How do we go on automatic and how might this map invite us to ‘self-remember’ and awaken to our aliveness here and now? Where is St. Francis Springs Prayer Center? St. Francis Springs is a beautiful inter-faith retreat center located in Stoneville, NC (about a 40 minute drive north of Greensboro).
